New Hope for Kids

In 1996, Kevin Mirarchi was introduced to New Hope for Kids by his good friend, John Kirkpatrick. John was a staff member of New Hope for Kids and approached Kevin about participating in our Annual BMW Drawing of Chance, even though he lived in Westchester, Pennsylvania.

New Hope for Kids was able to send Glenn and his parents to Washington D.C. to meet President Bush thanks to all the help from one of our UCF Cornerstone teams and Congressman Tom Feeney's office.

Community Foundation of Central Florida awards Capacity Building Grant of $10,563.96 to New Hope for Kids.

New Hope for Kids has been helping local children and families overcome traumatic grief and illness for more than 20 years, but it would have been impossible to do this alone.

New Hope for Kids Executive Director, Dave Joswick, offers his congratulations to Ronald Poland, winner of the 2008 G37 2 year lease at Orlando Infiniti. He and his wife, Suzanne, were thrilled to find out that Ron’s ticket was drawn at Friday night’s fund raising event, Shaken and Stirred. Ron was interested to learn more about the mission of New Hope for Kids grief and wish programs and is glad to be a supporter of such a worthy organization.

New Hope for Kids Annual Summer Camps

Camp Ray of Hope: The fifth annual New Hope for Kids grief camp, “Camp Ray of Hope”, welcomed 46 Central Florida children to participate in a weekend of sharing, remembering and healing. This camp not only provided an opportunity for these grieving children to explore their losses and lives now that their loved one is no longer physically present, it allowed for fun, adventure and solace. This year’s adventure was held for the first time at Disney’s Fort Wildrerness Resort and Campground.
