From 1986 until September 2000 Dave was president of TAI a software development and system integration company. From 1978 to 1986 he worked for NCR corporation in Personnel Resources and Marketing. Dana Duffie, Office Manager
Dana’s first experience with New Hope was in 2002 after the death of her 16 year old daughter, Sarah. She and her daughter, Amy, participated in our grief program where they both experienced the life-changing benefits New Hope provides. Dana now offers her experience to others by leading an adult grief support group at her church and by writing for various local organizations on the topic of grief. In June 2006, after years of extensive volunteer work and care-giving, Dana proudly rejoined the workforce as New Hope’s Office Manager. In addition to the traditional duties of this position, she also provides support for the finance, event, volunteer, wish and development directors and administrative assistance for the executive director.

Rhonda Giusti, Events Manager
Rhonda grew up in Southwest Michigan and attended school at Lake Michigan College. She has been with the New Hope for Kids Wish Program since their inception fourteen years ago. Rhonda learned about the Wish Program when her daughter was granted a wish, bringing with her a special understanding for working with the children and families. When not planning family support events and assisting in raising funds, Rhonda loves being mom to her precious daughter, Torrie, and chef-husband, David.

Joy Marston, Marketing Manager
After losing her mom at the age of 18, Joy understands the importance of grief support. It is this life changing experience that led her to New Hope for Kids. She became a Grief Facilitator in 2005 and has since joined the Staff as Marketing Manager. Acting as a liaison between the organization and the Central Florida community, Joy finds herself bouncing from civic clubs to religious associations to area companies providing information about New Hope for Kids’ services and involvement opportunities. When not speaking to a group about New Hope for Kids, Joy can typically be seen performing with her church’s Drama Troupe, The Green Room Company.

In this role, she coordinates fundraising efforts and writes grants in support of the NHFK's Grief and Wish Programs. She also has an avid interest in archaeology and has taken part in fieldwork and served as Interim Curator of the Popol Vuh Museum in Guatemala. Marla has a sixteen year old son, Danny, who can be counted on as a New Hope volunteer when he can take time out from his studies and sports activities.

Jaime Talbert, Volunteer Coordinator
Jaime became the newest member of the New Hope for Kids Family in August 2007. As Volunteer Coordinator, she brings experience to the position from both sides of the volunteer perspective. Having been an active volunteer for various organizations, Jaime appreciates the knowledge necessary for planning effective and organized volunteer events. As a coordinator, she organized student volunteer efforts for her Alma Mater, Appalachian State University, where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Psychology and a concentration in Human/Social Services. Jaime fully understands that New Hope for Kids volunteers serve as the backbone and heart our organization, making it the success it is today. A recent transplant from Brown Summit, North Carolina, Jaime is having fun getting to know Central Florida. She loves to spend her free time with friends and family, especially her “handsome boy” Blu, her faithful companion and pet.

In 1998 she received her M. Rebecca is responsible for the daily financial activities of the organization. She also maintains New Hope for Kids’ website and designs our newsletters, mail-outs and event flyers. Her I/T experience makes her invaluable to the entire staff when technical support is needed for our computer systems and software issues. In her personal life, she has experienced the unique challenges and blessings involved with having a sister with severe disabilities, giving her a special perspective on the programs of New Hope for Kids. Rebecca loves spending her free time with friends and family and can often be found on or near saltwater with a camera in her hand, having fun on a 4-wheeler in Gainesville or relaxing with her “kids”: 3 dogs, 3 cats and a bearded dragon.
